Not only did the white walls come to life with color, but artist Nille Bech also managed to incorporate everyday life at the factory into the artworks, using the help of the employees and materials.

Director and owner, Nikolaj Stærmose, felt the reception area walls at the headquarters needed a refresh. The idea behind the art exhibition is to create a stronger connection between the greenhouse lifestyle and the production of the greenhouses, which takes place inside the halls adjacent to the reception area.

Nikolaj Stærmose is extremely satisfied with the result: "I think Nille has captured the link between the use of the greenhouse and the production of the greenhouses beautifully. It is beautiful to see so many components from our everyday life in the actual artworks, and they are incredibly stunning pieces that reveal themselves when you enter through the main entrance."

I believe that the more we can remain attentive, curious, and reflective on what is actually happening, the more possibilities we will be able to see.

– Nille Bech

Artist Nille Bech's approach to these works was to make the invisible visible. By starting with what actually unfolds, there is a chance to see one's reality in new ways. This small shift in consciousness can create room for new thoughts and thus new possibilities.

The decoration consists of ten artworks and a moss wall. The overall expression moves in the intersection between art, decoration, and design, thereby encompassing reflection, supportive aesthetics, and functionality. Upon entering the reception area, one is immediately greeted by a large beautiful painting called "Den lille Idas blomster" (The Little Ida's Flowers), which is a reference to H.C. Andersen's "Den lille Idas blomster." It highlights Odense as the birthplace and headquarters of Juliana. Similarly, the artwork and Ida refer to Juliana being a family-owned business that has been passed down through generations. The girl in the painting represents Nikolaj Stærmose's daughter, Ida.

While each artwork can stand alone, together they create a narrative about the meeting of culture and nature, Juliana's values, and the company's employees' committed interest in creating development and spaces that benefit both people, nature, and the product.

Prayising Words from Juliana Employees.

Art is perceived differently by individuals, and it has been interesting to hear some of Juliana's employees' perspectives on this exhibition.

Britt from customer service comments on the artwork hanging on the wall near the customer service department: "Wow, the profiles are actually embroidered in this piece. It's so beautiful and creative!" Louise from marketing also shares her praise: "It's amazing to see so many details from our daily life depicted in the artworks. The logo on the stockings, nuts sculpted onto the painting, and profiles marked on the piece."

Some of the employees are also involved in the execution of one artwork. The employees' hands have been cast and adorned with flowers and plants to express unity, vitality, and support. Lene from the purchasing department describes the process: "It's fun to contribute to one of the artworks by lending my hands and be part of the exhibition while also working in the company on a daily basis.

Finally, Nille Bech explains: "In all the artworks, I have taken inspiration from the interaction between significant in-house objects and what is always invisibly present in the factory, such as nature, the end-user, or the fact that it is a company that originated in Odense and has evolved through generations."

It's fantastic to see so many details from our everyday life depicted in the artworks.
