Juliana Greenhouses at the RHS Badminton Flower Show 2026

A successful collaboration in a RHS Feature Garden

Perfume Pavilions a RHS feature garden

In July 2026, the Badminton Estate hosted the inaugural RHS Badminton Flower Show. Juliana Greenhouses was proud to support the RHS-commissioned Perfume Pavilions feature garden, where two Juliana Grand Oase greenhouses helped bring the story of botanical fragrance to life.

The garden was designed and built by Nicholsons Garden Design in collaboration with C.Atherley, Fibrex Nurseries and Juliana Greenhouses. Through flowers, foliage, trees and timber, it explored the natural origins of fragrance while paying tribute to the rich botanical heritage of the Badminton Estate.

At the heart of the garden were two Juliana Grand Oase greenhouses, each offering visitors a different interpretation of scented-leaf pelargoniums and their role in horticulture and perfumery.

The first greenhouse, presented by Fibrex Nurseries, featured a traditional display of pelargonium varieties cultivated by the specialist nursery. The display highlighted their beauty, diversity and horticultural heritage.

The second greenhouse, presented by C.Atherley, explored how scented pelargoniums continue to inspire contemporary fragrance. Plants from founder Cath Kidston Padgham’s private collection were displayed alongside C.Atherley’s scented geranium bath and body collection.

Throughout the show, visitors were invited to smell, touch and engage with the plants, discovering the distinctive fragrances released by their leaves. The collaboration brought together Juliana’s greenhouse craftsmanship, Fibrex Nurseries’ cultivation expertise and C.Atherley’s British-made products, creating an immersive journey from plant to perfume.

The feature garden also celebrated the legacy of Mary Somerset, Duchess of Beaufort, a passionate botanist and plant collector associated with the introduction of pelargoniums to Britain from South Africa. Presenting scented pelargoniums at Badminton created a fitting connection between horticultural heritage, fragrance and place.

Juliana Greenhouses is proud to have contributed to this unique RHS-commissioned feature garden and to have demonstrated how greenhouse growing can support plant heritage, sensory gardening and thoughtful garden design. The garden proved highly popular throughout the show, with visitors at times queuing to experience the displays.
