ew Greenhouse Leaning Against a Wall

A greenhouse leaning against a wall has the special ability to keep the greenhouse warm for many hours after the sun has set, as it stores the heat during the sunny hours. Both plants and humans can benefit from this.

Juliana Drivhuse A/S, a Danish company, is introducing a new wall-leaning greenhouse called the Juliana Lean-To. This model is available in three sizes: 47.4 ft², 105.5 ft², and 138.9 ft². Customers can choose between two color variations: black/aluminum or black/anthracite, with both featuring black-lacquered doors, windows, and fittings.

The Juliana Lean-To is designed with 0.12-inch toughened glass on all sides and 0.4-inch white polycarbonate on the roof, with an 11-degree roof pitch. It must be securely attached to either a house wall or eaves. If attached to eaves, the open side must be enclosed separately.

One of Juliana’s signature design features is visible on the Lean-To’s facade—its double stable door. The wide entrance and low threshold provide easy access for both wheelbarrows and wheelchairs.

For effective drainage, the Juliana Lean-To includes a 1.6-inch downpipe and a large gutter. Additionally, windows in both gables ensure proper ventilation for a healthy greenhouse environment.
