Juliana Group to Acquire OPJ A/S

The transaction will take effect on 1 January 2026, strengthening the Juliana Group’s position as a leading greenhouse manufacturer and expanding its portfolio of market-leading brands.

The Juliana Group has announced the acquisition of OPJ A/S, a Danish company specialising in the design and distribution of the Vitavia greenhouse brand

The acquisition forms part of the Juliana Group strategy, which focuses on growth through customer focus, product innovation, and operational excellence. While acquisitions were initially scheduled for the latter part of the strategy period, OPJ A/S presented a unique opportunity that aligns perfectly with the Juliana Groups long-term vision.

About OPJ A/S
Founded in 1997 and based in Odense, Denmark, OPJ A/S is owned by Jørgen Hjorth and operates as the company behind the Vitavia brand. The company manages development and distribution of Vitavia across Denmark, the Nordics, the Baltics, and Poland.

A Strong Strategic Fit
The Juliana Group and OPJ A/S have long shared a competitive yet mutually respectful relationship in the greenhouse industry. The acquisition brings together two strong Danish greenhouse companies and will enable the Juliana Group to offer an expanded product range to retail partners and end customers.

Integration and Transition
Following the acquisition, OPJ A/S will continue operating under its current structure during the first half of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. Integration into the Juliana Group will begin in the second half of the year, with full integration expected by the end of 2026.

The OPJ A/S team consists of 10 employees, including owner Jørgen Hjorth and his wife Karin, who will remain with the company for a period to support a seamless handover.
